Books for Babies!

LVOA is proud to announce that our Books for Babies program will be on going throughout the year!

Sturdy cloth bags filled with information on the importance of reading to children and a copy of one of our favorite board books, small toy, and valuable community information will be distributed free to young families at libraries and social service agencies all over the North Quabbin region this year.  Bags have been distributed to all of the local libraries as well as to various social service agencies in the area and will continue to be replenished as long as they are available.

If your agency would like bags to distribute to families, please call 978-249-5381.

  1. GED was originally developed for servicemen who entered the military before graduating their high school. It was made available for all qualified individuals in the succeeding years. The questions on the tests were created to evaluate the knowledge of the test-takers. The exam is divided into 5 topics, which include Language Art: Writing, Social Studies, Science, Language Art: Reading and Mathematics.
